Frequently asked questions

There are no specific medical restrictions unless planning to become a qualified pilot. Passengers must be able to get in and out of the aircraft unaided and it is inadvisable for expectant mothers to fly. Please let your pilot know if there are any known medical conditions we should be aware of.

We operate a two passenger policy in order to stay within the weight restrictions of our aircraft. Weight limitations vary depending on the specific aircraft used and the fuel onboard but as a general guide we can take two average sized adult passengers. It is possible to take three passengers but this would normally be limited to one adult and two children.

There are no age restrictions but younger children must be supervised by an adult. For children over the age of 14 we may ask the responsible parent or guardian to sign a consent form if flying unaccompanied.

Whilst we provide standard flight durations for ease of booking, we can vary the length of the flight to suit your requirements upon request.

As these flights are not flown with qualified instructors it is not possible to use any of the flight time towards the requirements of the Private Pilot License (PPL). If you would like the flight to count towards a pilots licence please book your flight through our Trial Flights page.

We offer flights in 4 seat PA-28 type aircraft allowing customers to bring along a friend at no extra cost. As is suggested by the name, these flights are aimed at giving passengers the experience of flight without actually handling any of the controls.
